My motivation for change

The biggest motivation for change is my upcoming wedding. Ever since I've been with my fiance I have gained 20 lbs. My weight would fluctuate but mostly going up. I think the most I ever lost was 5 lbs last summer before returning to California from Oregon. Being back at home all I did was eat with everyone. I gained that 5 lbs quickly and more. My wedding is in 8 months. I haven't made much progress. I have lost 2 lbs since the beginning of this semester. I am not trying hard enough. Since last week I told myself that I will quit soda. I have been one week free of soda. I o get tempted once in awhile during meals. Now I make sure that I have a cup of ice water with me during my meals. It doesn't taste as good as soda but I know it is for the best.

To remind myself that I must try harder I would grab my fat around my belly area. That is not going to go away just by staring at it. After feeling disgusted and more motivated, I pick my butt up and I worked till I sweat. I had two good workouts this past week. Even though I was coughing out phelm (I think that's how you spell it), I still manage to exercise.

I lost another 2 lbs this week. I'm not sure if it's the workout or was it because of being sick. Nonetheless, I'm going to keep that weight off. Maybe stress is attributed to my weight loss also.

Motivation for change: GOOD HEALTH and must look nice for wedding.
